Watch Service

I provide professional watch repair and servicing with a strong emphasis on precision, reliability, and careful craftsmanship. Our service include Battery replacement and resealing, pressure testing up to 10 bar (100m), crown and stem repairs, crystal replacement, bracelet/strap replacements and a range of other general watch repairs. I also offer full servicing for both quartz and mechanical movements, carried out with close attention to detail and long-term performance. I will try my best to obtain genuine parts where possible and will be in contact to discuss options when not possible.

To maintain the highest standards of care, I specialise in watches with a retail value of up to £2000, focusing on quality brands such as Seiko, Citizen, Tissot, Longines, Rado, Casio and similar manufacturers, as well as designer watches like DKNY, Gucci, Diesel, Emporio Armnani, Fossil, Hugo Boss, Skagen and Guess to name a few. I DO NOT undertake servicing work on high-luxury or high-value brands such as Rolex, Patek Phillipe, Audemars Piguet, IWC, Breitling and comparable watches, as these timepieces require manufacturer-specific tooling, controlled workshop environments and security measures beyond the scope of my independent workshop. This ensures every watch we accept receives the correct level of care and professional attention.

Watch Servicing

Prices are for labour only, if parts are needed I will be in contact to discuss and will not move forward until both parties are happy to proceed.

*Please note, at present I'm unable to service watches valued above £2000, as higher-value and brand specific pieces often require specialised tooling, controlled workshop standards and manufacturer authorisation to be serviced correctly.*

Quartz watch service - from £70

I will inspect the whole timepiece, replace the battery and seals, check the operation of the hands and complications (eg, day/date/chronograph). It will be tested on a high quality quartz testing machine to check health of the watch. The movement will then be disassembled and cleaned in a watch cleaning machine, parts will be individually checked, then everything will be re assembled and oiled using high quality Moebius synthetic oils. It will then be re tested to ensure a high quality service has been achieved.

Mechanical Watch Service

I will inspect the watch, test the current health and operation of the timepiece. Clean the case and bracelet (if applicable) in the ultrasonic. I will then disassemble the movement, inspecting each part, clean the parts in a watch cleaning machine. Then re assemble the watch and oil with high quality Moebius synthetic oils. I will replace the mainspring with a brand new one if needed as this is the power source of the timepiece. The watch will then be put back together, tested and kept running for 2 or 3 days. It will then be re tested and regulated for optimal performance across different wearing positions. The service is then complete!
